Passionate about coding and analyzing data, she is skilled at identifying data issues even before they become financial issues. Brittany’s diverse accounting background includes process improvement and automation, establishment of internal controls and accounting procedures. Throughout her career, she has fixed or automated painful processes and eliminated things that don’t add value to make things faster and easier for the user.
Having served as chief problem solver, she knows how to find the error or friction when something is broken. She figures out the kinks and cleans things up to make data flow the way it should. Her goal is to understand the transactions and the whole picture to uncover what is going on in an organization. She enjoys these puzzles and brings her curiosity, patience and tenacity to work through them.
Brittany previously worked in gaming and casino accounting for slots and table games, performing internal audits to check whether controls were followed and for abnormal transactions or activity. She held a general accounting role with a casino and with a slot manufacturer, using her sharp data analytics skills to look for unusual transactions, potential theft or money laundering.
