With a strong understanding of US GAAP accounting and a natural ability to make sense of financial data, she’s adept at identifying trends, anomalies and adjustments. Natasha knows how things should work properly and enjoys the challenge and complexity of analyzing data to sort out messes, find red flags and spot inaccuracies.

She has a grasp of the details but doesn’t get lost in them to keep the big picture in mind and make information meaningful. In prior roles, she was responsible for substantial information flow, how it’s gathered, collected and reported to the board. Fluent in accounting software, she has led conversions to new systems along with the cleanup or reconstruction needed to capture details correctly.

Natasha was previously a controller and held other accounting roles in the oil and gas industry, which is one of the most complex from an accounting standpoint with many intricacies, moving parts and different behind the scenes ownership calculations. She started her career doing general ledger work and financial statements, gaining a solid foundation about the back end of accounting systems, how everything feeds into financial statements and how it should all operate.
