Morones Analytics team 2024

Morones Analytics is honored to again be included in the Chambers & Partners USA-Nationwide Forensic Accountants Rankings among the top firms nationally. This is the second year that forensic accounting firms in the United States were ranked by Chambers.

Our founder, Serena Morones, is also recognized as a notable practitioner in the Litigation Support Guide. As a deeply experienced independent damages expert, she is regularly called upon by litigators to deliver expert testimony in high-profile disputes.

The Chambers Litigation Support researchers conducted hundreds of thorough interviews with senior market figures – both practitioners and purchasers of litigation support services worldwide – to ensure that these rankings are of the highest accuracy.

Strengths as described by clients in the 2023 and 2024 guides:

“Morones Analytics is well respected regionally and has done excellent claims work on various arbitrations. The team is very thorough, and I would not hesitate to use them on any complex matter.”

“I have always found Morones Analytics to be extremely responsive, actually answering phone calls and returning e-mails the same day.”

Notable work highlights

  • Morones Analytics served as the damage expert for the Marshall family in the John Marshall v PwC accounting malpractice litigation. Multnomah County jury awards family $65.5M in lawsuit against PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The jury relied on our opinion of damages in awarding $65.5 million to the Marshall family in their case against accounting giant PricewaterhouseCoopers, which was found negligent in its tax advice to a family-owned company.
  • Morones Analytics was instructed by the State of Oregon to evaluate potential damage claims made by FamilyCare, a non-profit Medicaid insurer, against Oregon Health Authority. See our Case Study: FamilyCare v. Oregon Health Authority.
