Professional Experience

Alina Niculita is a business valuation industry expert, who has co-authored several books, chapters and articles on business valuation theory and methods. Mentored by one of the leading business valuation industry founders, Dr. Shannon Pratt, for more than a decade, Ms. Niculita enjoys analyzing unusual and complex valuation questions. To reach her reasoned value opinions, she draws on her extensive knowledge of authoritative valuation guidance materials as represented by her impressive library of valuation books and publications.

Ms. Niculita has appraised hundreds of companies from diverse industries and sizes up to several billion in revenues. She provides value opinions for a range of purposes including transactions, buy-sell agreements, gift and estate tax, marital dissolution, bankruptcy, litigation disputes and intangible asset allocations. Ms. Niculita assists in the resolution of litigation disputes and is particularly adept at explaining complex valuation issues such as an appropriate cost of capital, valuation discounts and premiums, valuation methods and approaches, adjustments to financial statements, use of management forecasts, and other advanced valuation issues.

Ms. Niculita has served as an author, co-author, and contributing author of several business valuation articles, book chapters, and books, including several publications with Dr. Shannon Pratt.  She frequently teaches business valuation subjects at CLEs and conferences.
